Our apartment is in the very heart of Paris. It is on the edge of the marais and within an easy 10-minute walk of the Pont Neuf, Notre-Dame and the Île Saint-Louis, the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens, Les Halles and the Palais-Royal.

The apartment can be found just past rue Rambuteau on rue Saint-Martin, once the oldest commercial road in Europe. Today it is a long one way street running north to south into the vibrant pedestrian precinct in front of the Pompidou Centre, which is around the corner. 

Located on the fourth floor (with lift) of a quality building constructed in 1978, the apartment is bright, clean and tidy and and comes with all the furnishings and comforts of home, including HD flat screen TV, wireless internet, Nespresso coffee machine, separate kitchen with full kitchenware and appliances, modern clothes washer/dryer, fans and heating.

The apartment has a spacious separate bedroom with double bed and high windows as well as a large bathroom and separate toilet and is ideal for a couple. However it accommodates an additional 2 people who could use the modern sofa bed in the living room. A no smoking policy applies at all times. 

The location (3rd arrondissement) is very convenient. Most of the attractions of central Paris are in walking distance, making it easy to get around. Several metro stops are close by, as well as convenient bus routes, offering an easy and interesting means of getting to your destination.

The apartment is on rue Saint-Martin.  This is a narrow one way street leading into the pedestrian precinct around the Pompidou Centre. It is on the edge of the marais, one of the most popular of the Paris quartiers, known for its boutique stores, its museums and galleries, its fashionable bars, cafes and restaurants and its lively hip ambiance.
